• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at government transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, solution-focused manner and document actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity, incident reports and daily logs and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 07:30 AM - 06:00 PM


• Sat 07:30 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at government transportation facilities.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.


• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity according to site-specific policies.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request appropriate assistance and document actions taken.


• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding public service personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
