Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Valid armed guard license or card.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check as required by laws.
• Background histories considered as per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government revenue collection location per site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior areas, public service counters, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, coordinating with site personnel and responders.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs of patrols and observations.

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

• Fri: 08:00 AM - 05:15 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government revenue collection location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, public service counters, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report unusual conditions, suspicious behavior, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and document incidents, patrol findings, and security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
