Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and escalating concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and maintain awareness of restricted areas and site operations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 01:00 PM - 07:30 PM
• Tue 01:00 PM - 07:30 PM
• Wed 01:00 PM - 07:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and maintain awareness of restricted areas and site operations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
