Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and coordinating with hospital staff and responders.
• Monitor access points and screen or direct visitors according to procedures to maintain orderly patient care operations.
• Carry authorized equipment and complete accurate incident reports and documentation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific policies, access procedures, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital personnel and public responders as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and screen or direct visitors according to site procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment for patient care and operations.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures; complete accurate incident reports and required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
