Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and professionally, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the location, including parking areas and perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations per site procedures.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports maintaining a professional presence.

As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Laredo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will conduct visible patrols, operate a vehicle as needed, help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service. You will respond to concerns, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork and integrity. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and emergency services when needed.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.


• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.


• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.


• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
