As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access points, and assist employees, customers, and visitors with professionalism. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $24.16 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking facilities, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrols, and unusual activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
