Allied Universal in Vineland, NJ, is seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer for patrols at an educational location. You will deter incidents, handle routine security tasks, and provide professional customer service to students, staff and visitors.

The role requires minimum 3 years in security or related fields, a concealed carry permit, and an armed guard license. You will participate in ongoing security training and must pass background and drug screening.

Pay Rate: $20.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
