Responsibilities

• Conduct regular armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle access points, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare clear incident reports and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives, and public service personnel.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities and transit locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle access points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation while working collaboratively with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives, and public service personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
