Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and coordinating with management and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports documenting incidents and security concerns.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including coordinating with store management and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and document incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least five years of armed security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to the state and/or local regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
