Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, hospital policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while monitoring access points and helping support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observed concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
