Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and/or shoppers while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Monitor access points and support the orderly flow of visitors, deliveries, and vendors in accordance with location requirements.
• Prepare clear and timely reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
