Job summary

Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA seeks a Security Officer for full-time unarmed patrol and alarm panel operations. You will safeguard residents, visitors, and staff, monitor shelters, and provide courteous customer service aligned with Allied Universal values.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and documenting activities. Candidates should have 1+ year security experience, be 18+, and possess a HS diploma; background checks and drug screening

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
