Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time unarmed Security Officer in Whitestown, IN. You will patrol logistics sites, deter incidents, monitor access, and deliver strong customer service while upholding safety policies and a culture of teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor activity, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur 02:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, drivers, and deliveries; verify credentials and document observations in accordance with site policies.
• Assist with maintaining orderly operations by reporting unusual activity, facility hazards, damaged property, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
