Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer with an active DoD Secret clearance for Lexington, KY. You will greet visitors, manage access, and provide professional customer service at a technology-focused site.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front-desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests according to established procedures.
• Operate reception-area communication systems, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and assist with managing incoming calls, inquiries, and appointments.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain awareness of front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
