Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen per employment guidelines.
• Licensing requirements may vary by location.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points, verify authorization and credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain access records.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Report access-control concerns, unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance issues per reporting procedures.

As a Security Officer Part Time Access Systems Monitor in Lumberton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and responding to alarm panel activity. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.66 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization and credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Report access-control concerns, unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance issues through established reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
