Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and access control policies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations and authorization before entry to designated areas.
• Operate access control systems, issue and collect visitor badges, maintain entry records and report access concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized access.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and authorization requirements before permitting entry to designated areas of the healthcare location.
• Operate access control systems, issue and collect visitor badges, maintain accurate entry records, and report access concerns or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, restricted areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
