As an Access Control Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and assisting visitors, staff, and patients with professionalism. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly, and support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $15.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
Sat 06:30 PM - 06:30 AM
Sun 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor and manage access control points, verify authorized entry credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals according to facility access procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
• Assist with maintaining access-related records, documenting incidents, and communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
