Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors while enforcing security procedures and site policies at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner, contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, documenting and reporting unusual conditions or incidents.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports using established procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting and reporting unusual conditions or incidents.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation using established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
