Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers; verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; report observations and coordinate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports, logs, and documentation related to access activity, incidents, and site-specific security-related procedures.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
