Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures and access control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, issue temporary badges, and direct authorized individuals.
• Control vehicle/pedestrian entry and document deliveries and unusual activity per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate with site contacts and leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, issue temporary badges, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit in accordance with site procedures, including documenting deliveries, shipments, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
