Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for entrants according to site procedures.
• Maintain visitor, vehicle, and delivery records and report access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems as they arise.
• Conduct regular patrols of access areas, loading docks, and facility perimeter.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for incoming and outgoing drivers, visitors, contractors, and/or employees in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records and communicate access concerns or irregularities to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
