• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures at a production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, and deliveries.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents and patrols.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in VICKSBURG, MS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.20 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, inspections, and other security‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
