• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, shipping/receiving areas, parking, and perimeter to identify unusual activity.

You will manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and provide clear, professional communication to employees, drivers, and guests. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors and contractors, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen incoming vehicles, drivers, and deliveries as directed, helping maintain orderly movement through gates, yards, and designated entry points.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site‑specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, shipping and receiving areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
