Allied Universal in Savannah, GA is seeking a Part Time Security Officer – Access Control to provide reliable, fixed-shift security coverage at an assigned site with opportunities to pick extra shifts via the scheduling platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution location, including interior, exterior, parking areas, dock areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain access and activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, damaged property, and policy violations to deter unauthorized access and loss.

As a Security Officer Part Time - Access Control in SAVANNAH, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
