Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Control in Lancaster, PA, to provide customer service, manage entry points, verify credentials, and deter incidents at a financial institution.

You will work part-time shifts, with pay at $16.00 per hour, and participate in a shift-claim platform to explore roles and grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access records, issue and retrieve authorized credentials as directed, and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entry points and perimeter locations, to identify and report security-related concerns.
