Allied Universal in Carlisle, PA is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for Access Coordination to support logistics and distribution sites. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials, and control entry and exit for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

1. Age Requirement:
   • All candidates must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for employment. This requirement is in accordance with laws or regulations, if applicable].
2. Security Experience:
   • Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant security experience. This experience should be documented and verifiable through previous employment or training.

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
