Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Access Control Security Officer in Findlay, OH. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and report security concerns while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors and staff by following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration and direct authorized individuals.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents calmly and report concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, common areas, parking facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, key and access-card records and communicate with property management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a commercial real estate location; verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly report concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, key, and/or access-card records while communicating professionally with property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
