Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part-Time, 2nd Shift) in Alexandria, KY. You’ll monitor and safeguard clients across food/beverage sites, maintaining a visible security presence and delivering friendly customer service on a dynamic team.

As an Unarmed Officer, you’ll use site tech to document activity, respond to incidents, and help create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay is $18.40 per hour.

Pay Rate: $18.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout food production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary across the location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
