Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Identity Verification in Vance, AL. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with flexible pick-up options to increase earnings and gain experience across sites.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors and drivers at an automotive site while following security procedures.
• Screen personnel, packages and vehicles entering designated areas per access-control rules.
• Verify credentials, log visitors, issue temporary passes and direct people to locations.
• Monitor entry points and report any security concerns or policy violations.
• Respond calmly to incidents and perform routine patrols of assigned areas.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Identity Verification in Vance, AL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by pick-up additional shifts when it works for you.

• Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers at an automotive manufacturing or distribution location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, issue temporary passes, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Monitor entry points and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to site leadership or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter as directed.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
