Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security procedures, site policies, and access-control requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitors, vehicles, and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and responding agencies while safeguarding sensitive operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding agencies while supporting protection of sensitive aerospace and defense operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
