Allied Universal® in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol to provide reliable, consistent coverage at an assigned site with flexible hours.

The role offers a fixed anchor shift with six-month commitment and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, increasing earning potential while supporting career growth.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific procedures and responding to questions in a professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facility buildings, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization as directed by site procedures, and documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Greenwood, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
