Allied Universal, in Cantonment, FL, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (TWIC Patrol) to safeguard a chemical/petrochemical manufacturing location. You will monitor and patrol, maintain presence, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting site operations.

Your role includes unarmed patrols, access control, incident response, and professional reporting. Schedule set for Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and hazardous situations calmly and following procedures.
• Perform regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and report anomalies.
• Assist emergency preparedness and coordinate with site personnel and responders as directed.

• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain accurate logs, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency preparedness by following evacuation, shelter-in-place, and incident response procedures, coordinating with site personnel and public emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
