Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Foot Patrol in Bartow, FL. You will patrol, monitor access points, and provide customer service while enforcing site policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.

The role requires one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. A valid driver’s license is needed for driving positions; this is a full-time, on-site opportunity.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Observe site conditions during patrols, report hazards, damaged equipment, and unusual activity, and follow required personal protective equipment requirements for assigned areas.

Job Schedule:

• Thu 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
