Indiana Regional Medical Center in Allegheny County invites a dedicated security officer to join our on-site team. You will assist the director, manage access control, photo IDs, Kronos timekeeping, scheduling, and participate in fire drills and officer training to ensure a safe hospital environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and PA driver’s license, with preference for prior safety/security experience and BLS certification.

Formación

• Education: High school graduate.
• Experience: Previous safety/security experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Valid PA driver's license; PA ACT 235 or PA ACT 120 (with waiver).
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the director and collaborate on security operations, access control, and documentation.
• Manage scheduling, timekeeping (Kronos), and training of security officers.
• Respond to emergencies, perform fire drills, and make decisions under pressure.
• Answer questions from customers and provide courteous assistance.

• Assisting the director as well as working with key control, photo IDs, card access, Kronos time and attendance, scheduling, fire drills and documentation, and the training and competency of officers.
• Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Performing repetitive duties and alert in making decision in emergency and crisis situations.
• Answering customers’ questions and requests for assistance in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
• Performing the core skills required to safely handle, carry, and operate an issued firearm.
• Proper application of subject control tactics.

Required:

• EDUCATION: High school graduate

  • BLS preferred
