Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time temporary role at Pardeeville, WI, with additional assignments in Madison, WI. Compensation is $25.00 per hour for a temporary, full-time position from 11/1/26 to 12/21/26.

As a Security Officer you will patrol premises, monitor systems, control access, and respond to emergencies to maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors. Strong communication and vigilance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Above-average computer/technology skills.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Calm under pressure with vigilance throughout shift.
• Respond to emergencies with sound judgement and escalation when needed.
• Strong observational, communication, and quick decision-making abilities.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
