Job summary

Allied Universal in Hatfield, PA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporter to safeguard clients across multiple industries at a utilities-related environmental solutions location. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while adhering to site policies and emergency procedures.

This is a Full Time role with a pay rate of $18.25 per hour, working night shifts including Sun-Thu and Mon-Thu rotations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor authorization according to site procedures; maintain logs.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities-related environmental services location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Report hazards, damaged fencing, unsecured doors, lighting issues, and other security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
