As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail grocery location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe activity, report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to shoppers and team members. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Overnights

• Tue 04:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 04:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 04:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 04:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe store activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Document incidents and complete required reports while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
