Job summary

Allied Universal, Omaha, NE, is seeking a Security Officer Overnight Patrol to safeguard clients across technology, media and telecom environments. You will perform routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service to employees and visitors, helping deter incidents and support a welcoming workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the building, entrances, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to maintain orderly entry and exit.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs and report observations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, entrances, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit operations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
