Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Overnight Security Officer in Council Bluffs, IA. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide customer service at a technology and data infrastructure site.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting concerns, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related activities. This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth within a supportive team environment.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and data infrastructure location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and authorized entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
