Job Description

As a Security Officer Overnight Hotel Resort Patrol in Oceanside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests, residents, and team members with exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort common areas, guest-accessible spaces, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
