Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks an Overnight Security Officer in Greenville, OH. You will safeguard clients across Manufacturing & Industrial sites, manage access control, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a professional presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access‑related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Assist with controlling vehicle, contractor, and delivery access while supporting compliance with established facility access requirements.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
