Job summary

Allied Universal, Findlay, OH, seeks a Security Officer for full-time evening shifts. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide exceptional customer service while safeguarding clients across manufacturing and industrial environments.

You will perform access control tasks, monitor locations, respond to incidents, and maintain visitor records, contributing to a safe, orderly site and reliable security operations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location.

As a Security Officer Full Time Evenings in Findlay, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and employee access, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries in accordance with established site procedures, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting observations promptly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
