Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Security Officer for commercial patrols in New York. You will monitor sites, deter incidents, manage access control, and deliver strong customer service to employees and visitors.

Responsibilities include routine and random patrols, reporting security activity, and responding calmly to incidents. A NYS Security Guard License and HS diploma or equivalent are required, with background checks and drug screening per law.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
