Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for an Operation Center in El Paso, TX. You will safeguard clients, monitor entry points, verify credentials and respond to security-related concerns at a financial institution and surrounding sites.

The role is full time with day/night shift rotation. You will perform access control, patrols, and incident response while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may be required prior to employment.

As a Security Officer for an Operation Centerin El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification, reviewing visitor credentials, issuing access badges, and maintaining visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and unusual observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
