Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for an open interviews event at 55 Westport Plaza, STL MO. This full-time role offers a site wage of $18.00 per hour and requires strong customer service, leadership, and vigilance.

You will help maintain a safe environment, perform access control, patrol duties, and respond professionally to incidents. Applicants should be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess basic tech skills.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).
• Strong professional appearance.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out duties of similar nature as required for the site.

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
