Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hosting open interviews for Security Officers at our Salt Lake City area site. This full-time role involves maintaining a safe environment through access control, patrolling, and services to clients and guests.

Join a team focused on vigilance and helpful service, with opportunities for training, benefits, and supportive leadership. Interviews occur Wednesdays from 10 AM to 2 PM at 4021 South 700 East Suite 100, Salt Lake City, UT 84107.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• No previous security experience necessary!!

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Location: 4021 South 700 East Suite 100, Salt Lake City, UT 84107

Schedule: Every Wednesday, 10AM - 2PM

Wage: $18.00-$19.50/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
