Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Security Officer for an open interview session every Wednesday, 10 AM to 2 PM. This full-time role pays $18.00–$19.50 per hour and focuses on access control, patrols, and maintaining a safe environment for our clients.

You will handle customer service, report safety issues, follow post orders, and respond calmly to emergencies. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid training, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Location: 4021 South 700 East Suite 100, Salt Lake City, UT 84107

Schedule: Every Wednesday, 10AM - 2PM

Wage: $18.00-$19.50/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
