Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring for a Security Officer to participate in open interviews at our Salt Lake City location. The role involves maintaining a safe environment, managing access control and patrolling client sites while enforcing site regulations.

Bring your 18+ status, high school diploma or GED, and strong computer skills. You will need to stay calm under pressure, deliver excellent customer service, and be ready for training and ongoing employment benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• No previous security experience necessary!

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Security Officer - Open Interviews - Full Time

Where: 4021 South 700 East Suite 100, Salt Lake City, UT 84107

When: Every Wednesday

Time: 10AM - 2PM

Wage Range: $18.00-$19.50/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
