Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. seeks a Security Officer for open interviews at our Salt Lake City location. The session runs every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 4021 South 700 East Suite 100, Salt Lake City, UT 84107.

Wage range is $18.00–$19.50 per hour, with full-time benefits and training provided. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, monitoring access control, and patrolling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring the premises.
• Perform access control and patrol varied locations.
• Enforce regulations and directives for client sites.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazards.
• Provide customer service to employees and visitors.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out duties of similar nature as assigned.

Security Officer - Open Interviews - Full Time

When: Every Wednesday

Time: 10AM - 2PM

Wage Range: $18.00-$19.50/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

• No previous security experience necessary!
