Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Reno, NV is hiring Security Officers for open interviews on multiple shifts, full-time and part-time. Interviews take place at 5470 Kietzke Lane, Reno, NV 89511, weekly on Thursdays from 10AM to 3PM.

Wage range is $16.00-$20.00 per hour. Bring two IDs and a resume. The company provides elite training in safety and security, with opportunities for growth and advancement through regional support staff.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and different types of terrain.
• Report writing.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
